Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jack Henry is hiring a Release Engineer II to coordinate release and technology initiatives across engineering, operations, security, and technology teams. The role supports project execution, operational visibility, automation, configuration management, and platform modernization.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine configuration tasks following established procedures
- Works with others to understand basic requirements
- Tracks project progress and reports on status
- Develops basic scripts for automation
- Contributes to the configuration management database
- Monitors basic release metrics
- May perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Must have 2 years of experience in Powershell and or Python scripting and project coordination/ management
- Experience in managing projects utilizing any of the following types of tools (Jira, Github, Kanban)
- Experience in being able to identify and create process automation
- Experience establishing and creating reports
- Effective cross functional collaboration and communication skills
- Exposure to technology operations
