[Remote] Revenue Accounting Director

Virtual Click Support is hiring a Revenue Accounting Director to oversee revenue recognition, reporting, and the end-to-end revenue accounting process. The role leads revenue close and financial reporting, develops revenue policies and controls, supports audits, and partners with operations and sales to forecast and assess revenue performance.

Responsibilities

• The Revenue Accounting Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue recognition and reporting for Virtual Click Support
• This role manages the end-to-end revenue accounting process, including reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Day-to-day activities include leading the revenue close process, preparing and analyzing financial statements and revenue reports, and partnering with operations and sales to forecast and track revenue performance
• The Director will develop and implement policies and controls related to revenue, supervise and mentor accounting team members, and support audits by providing documentation and explanations for revenue-related transactions
• This position plays a key role in informing strategic decisions by providing insights into revenue trends, profitability, and financial risks

Skills

• Strong Finance skills, including knowledge of corporate finance principles and revenue-related processes
• Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience preparing and analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credentials or an equivalent professional certification, with a solid understanding of relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS)
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in revenue accounting or audit
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets
• Prior leadership or team management experience

• Effective remote communication
• The capacity to collaborate across finance, operations, and sales teams
