[Remote] Sales Application Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Broetje Automation is a global expert and OEM in aircraft manufacturing automation and robotics. The Sales Application Engineer will lead North American sales, source new aerospace manufacturing customers, develop customer relationships, and support the sales process through proposals and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as forward-facing sales personnel to achieve North American sales targets
• Become technically proficient in current and future product offerings (i.e., automated drilling and fastening equipment, composites manufacturing, etc.)
• Source leads, identify and develop relationships with decision makers
• Qualify potential customers for genuine need and ability to purchase proposed solutions
• Work with customers throughout entirety of sales process
• Lead in development of sales proposals
• Travel to customer sites as needed for sales and proposal meetings and to ensure we are providing world class customer service
• Research and identify potential future markets for existing and new Broetje products
• Identify possible derivative products and solutions to help expand our current offerings

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering)
• 7+ years working in customer facing role
• Automated systems such as machine tools, robotic cells or assembly fixtures, jigs, tools
• Manufacturing applications with thermoset or thermoplastic composite materials
• Factory assembly or machine manufacturing
• Personable and outgoing; comfortable speaking in front of groups of people
• Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Experience creating and presenting sales proposals
• Active US passport
