Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talos operates p(X), an institutional-grade digital asset liquidity provision business serving counterparties across fragmented global trading venues. The Sales Director will drive counterparty acquisition, onboarding, and revenue growth by generating leads, building relationships, closing deals, and partnering with Trading on commercial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Source, pitch, and close new counterparties (retail brokers, fintechs, funds, neobanks)
- Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting → negotiation → onboarding → activation
- Expand our network of trading counterparties and products throughout 2027
- Build and maintain long-term strategic counterparty relationships
- Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales and activation targets
- Partner closely with Trading on onboarding, pricing, connectivity, and workflow improvements
- Analyze market opportunities, track pipeline status, and produce clear sales reporting
Skills
- 7-10+ years in institutional trading sales (some overlap with crypto will be a bonus), with proven revenue-carrying responsibility
- Strong background in institutional capital markets with demonstrable sales achievements
- Existing crypto network or prior experience successfully growing a book of business in the ecosystem
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making
- High sense of urgency, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to operate autonomously
- Some overlap with crypto
