Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aramis Search is recruiting for an unnamed established U.S. industrial manufacturer. The Sales Operations Analyst will own sales reporting, pricing analysis, and process improvement, supporting commercial leadership and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance, customer activity and order trends to identify commercial risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to commercial leadership
- Evaluate pricing structures, quotation accuracy and profitability to support margin improvement
- Identify inefficiencies within existing sales processes and lead initiatives to improve accuracy, productivity and scalability
- Work with ERP, CRM and reporting systems to improve data accuracy, consistency and accessibility
- Support sales forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning through detailed analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Operations to resolve commercial challenges and improve overall business performance
Skills
- Previous experience in sales operations, commercial analysis, pricing analysis or a related analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience analyzing complex datasets and developing meaningful business reports
- Strong understanding of commercial performance, pricing, profitability and sales processes
- Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify problems and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for management
- Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence/reporting tools is advantageous
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial distribution or a related B2B environment is preferred but not essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
