Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amtex Systems Inc is recruiting for a Lead SAP ILM Data Archiving Consultant with Auritas’s SAP Data Management practice. The consultant will design, implement, and support SAP ILM, data archiving, and DVM solutions, while also handling system decommissioning, retention policies, reporting, and client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support SAP ILM, Data Archiving and DVM solutions
- Plan and execute SAP/non-SAP system decommissioning (data extraction, migration, long-term retention)
- Build ABAP enhancements, custom reports and SQL reporting for archiving needs
- Define retention policies and data classification; document archived data and support audits
- Run client workshops, training and status meetings
Skills
- 8+ years overall experience
- 5+ years SAP DVM and Data Archiving
- 3+ years system decommissioning (at least 2 projects delivered)
- 4+ years SAP ABAP development
- Led at least 2 end-to-end Data Archiving implementations
- Strong DB, SQL and large enterprise SAP landscape experience
- SAP Carve-Out
- HANA Data Aging
- Archiving in CRM/BW/HR
- BASIS knowledge
- SAP certification (ILM, Data Archiving, ABAP)
- Bachelor's in IT/CS/Engineering preferred
