[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aprio Talent Advisory is recruiting for a private equity-backed SaaS company seeking a Senior Accountant to own monthly close activities for multiple business units and legal entities. The role covers journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, consolidations, acquisition integration, and audit support using Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly close for assigned business units and legal entities, including journal entries, accruals, and flux analysis
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany balances, and clear out-of-balance positions before consolidation
• Prepare consolidation eliminations and support the consolidated close in Sage Intacct
• Prepare and self-review balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve aged reconciling items
• Execute accounting integration for acquired entities, including chart of accounts mapping, opening balance conversion, and first close
• Support entity rationalization through intercompany settlement, wind-down accounting, and closing balance documentation
• Maintain entity and dimension coding so business unit reporting ties to the general ledger
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor requests for your entity portfolio

Skills

• MUST be in EST or CST time zone
• At this time the client is only considering candidates who have experience in a fast paced PE backed tech / SaaS company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including independent ownership of a full monthly close cycle
• Experience in a private equity-backed Tech / SaaS or software company
• Hands-on multi-entity experience with intercompany accounting, consolidations, and eliminations
• Sage Intacct or a comparable multi-entity ERP, such as NetSuite OneWorld
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience, including research and resolution of aged items
• Advanced Excel skills, including analysis of large data sets
• CPA
• Acquisition integration, entity conversion, or ERP migration experience
• Entity rationalization or wind-down accounting experience
• Experience supporting external audits across multiple entities
