[Remote] Senior Consultant - Accounting Advisory

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Henderson Drake is advertising a Senior Consultant role with an accounting advisory firm. The consultant will support technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction-related engagements, working directly with clients on acquisitions, divestitures, IPO readiness, and other strategic events.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting advisory engagements across technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction-related projects
• Work alongside clients through acquisitions, divestitures, IPO readiness, and other strategic events
• Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation
• Work directly with CFOs, Controllers, and finance teams on accounting and reporting challenges
• Contribute to the preparation and review of financial reporting deliverables
• Take part in client meetings, workshops, and project planning sessions

Skills

• 3+ years in public accounting, accounting advisory, audit, or transaction services
• Active CPA licence or actively working toward certification
• Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience on technical accounting or transaction-related engagements
• Good communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with clients and colleagues
• Analytical and genuinely interested in developing within a client-facing advisory environment
