Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Codebase Inc is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable data platforms and analytics solutions. The role focuses on Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python, and ETL expertise.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize scalable data platforms and analytics solutions
Skills
- 7+ years of data engineering experience with strong Snowflake expertise
- Hands-on Snowflake architecture, administration, and feature configuration
- Strong coding experience with Python and advanced SQL
- Experience developing and optimizing ETL/data pipelines using Python, SQL, and DataStream
- Strong experience with Snowpipe and SnowSQL
- Experience with Snowflake Time Travel and Fail Safe
- Strong experience developing PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures
- Experience with data platform performance tuning and query optimization
- Strong understanding of data integrity, security, and compliance
- Experience documenting technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures
- Experience with dbt and modern data transformation frameworks
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and data modeling
- Exposure to CI/CD for data engineering projects
- Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification or relevant cloud/data engineering certification
