[Remote] Senior Digital Project Manager- Director Level [AQ-23164]

๐ŸŒ Remote ยท United States ๐Ÿ’ผ Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aquent is recruiting a Senior Digital Project Manager for an unnamed client. The role leads enterprise website projects from planning through launch, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring quality, accessibility, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise website builds, redesigns, and migrations: scope, plan, budget, schedule, and launch
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent projects, using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches suited to each engagement
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including account managers, UX/UI designers, developers, content strategists, SEO and analytics specialists, and client stakeholders
  • Own quality assurance: lead functional, cross-browser/device, content, and accessibility QA, and ensure defects are triaged and resolved before launch
  • Champion standards for accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, security, and privacy, building them into project plans and definitions of done rather than treating them as late-stage checks
  • Plan and manage launches and migrations, including content migration, redirect mapping, SEO preservation, go-live readiness, and post-launch support
  • Identify risks and resolve issues proactively, managing scope, change control, and dependencies, and escalating with clear options and recommendations
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with internal teams and clients on status, risks, decisions, and next steps
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to improve project workflows (planning, documentation, QA support, reporting, content operations) and evaluate where AI-assisted design and development can speed delivery, with appropriate human review and client-approved usage
  • Support content and light technical tasks as needed, such as updating content in client CMS platforms and making basic HTML/CSS edits

Skills

  • 7-10 years of digital project management experience, including multiple enterprise-scale website or web application projects delivered from inception to launch
  • Proficiency with Agile and Scrum practices (sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives) and the ability to adapt methodology to project needs
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Asana or Jira, including reporting, resource tracking, and workflow setup
  • Working knowledge of the modern web ecosystem: CMS platforms (traditional and headless), component-based front-end frameworks, design systems, APIs and integrations, and cloud hosting/CI/CD workflows. You don't need to code them, but you must understand them well enough to scope, sequence, and challenge estimates
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and CMS content editing for quick, accurate updates
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and web QA practices
  • Strong budget, scope, and change-order management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level status reporting
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization, and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • A client-focused, collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies and AI tools, with sound judgment about when and how to use them
  • Experience in healthcare providers, health tech, or medical devices, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with healthcare privacy and compliance considerations (HIPAA, consent management, tracking technologies, and data handling in marketing and web contexts)
  • Experience with web analytics and tag management (GA4, GTM), A/B testing, and conversion optimization
  • Experience managing large-scale content migrations, multi-site or multilingual builds, or platform re-platforming
  • Exposure to enterprise DXP/CMS platforms such as Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress VIP, Contentful, or Sanity
  • PMP, CSM, PSM, or similar certification

Benefits

  • Remote role (20-30 hours per week)
