[Remote] Senior Instructional Designer, Global Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agilent Technologies is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer to develop and deliver technical learning solutions for Global Operations and its Quality Management System. The role supports learning strategy, training content development, program governance, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the creation of Capability/Competency Maps for key roles within Global Operations
• Leverages eLearning tools in the development of innovative training solutions for key Global Operations’ initiatives including, but not limited to, the Annual Quality Training, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and other GxP, regulatory and technical priorities
• Utilizes emerging technologies, such as video, mixed reality, augmented reality, virtual reality, and immersive training to deliver impactful solutions to support business and compliance initiatives
• Leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of learning solutions, translations, and other relevant applications
• Conducts comprehensive reviews of existing training materials for to evaluate for efficacy, supporting improvements to ensure training materials are clear, consistent, effective, and meet current accessibility standards
• Managing the full lifecycle of new technologies, including regulatory compliance, security reviews, , and sustained enablement
• Developing and producing interactive video and Extended Reality (XR) content
• Partner with Global Operations leadership, and HR L&D, to define learning priorities for each team
• Oversight of critical Learning KPIs and Metrics to ensure training effectiveness
• Builds upon existing capabilities in Agilent Global Operations to create and deliver our next-level vision for technical learning priorities across the organization
• This cross-functional role requires developing, managing a strong set of relationships, and collaborating across Global Operations and Agilent
• Partners with leaders across Global Operations to manage learning strategy, providing opportunities for employees’ career growth and alignment with Global Operations strategy
• Manages timelines, tools and resources through matrixed delivery teams
• May mentor other training personnel across Global Operations
• Support internal and external audits, as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in training content development, leveraging eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate RISE, Captivate, Vyond, etc
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (including Teams, PowerPoint, EXCEL, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with high attention to detail and maintaining ethical standards
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Advanced Degree in learning and/or content development
• Experience using video content development, extended reality experiences, and virtual reality experiences
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content development
