[Remote] Senior Recruitment Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. An unnamed international Life Sciences recruitment business is expanding its US MedTech division. The senior recruiter will build a profitable recruitment desk, develop client relationships and support medical technology businesses with hiring across technical, regulatory, clinical and commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• This is a senior 360 recruitment position with a strong emphasis on business development, account penetration and long-term client partnerships
• You’ll work directly with Founders, CEOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product and senior R&D leaders, supporting businesses as they develop, validate and commercialise new medical technologies
• Assignments may span Embedded Software, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Clinical Affairs and senior commercial appointments
• There’s considerable flexibility in how you build your desk. Whether your strengths sit in permanent placements, executive search, strategic account development or opening new markets, the business is interested in recruiters who can demonstrate a successful commercial approach
• The expectation is to build a substantial, profitable MedTech desk. The infrastructure, international reach and earning potential are already in place

Skills

• You'll need a demonstrable track record of generating revenue, developing new business and building relationships with senior decision-makers
• Direct MedTech experience isn't essential
• Ambitious Senior Consultants ready for greater autonomy
• Established Principal Recruiters who want a stronger platform without taking on unnecessary management responsibilities
• Recruiters who have already demonstrated their ability to bill consistently
• Experienced recruiters across MedTech, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Engineering and other specialist technical markets
• Previous exposure to FDA-regulated environments, ISO 13485, SaMD, Surgical Robotics, Diagnostics or Medical Device commercialisation would be particularly useful
