Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing advanced systems for U.S. and allied military capabilities. The Senior Security Engineer will build and implement defensive security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructure, develop automation and security tools, conduct architecture reviews, and address security issues across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructure
- Develop tools and systems to improve security posture and operational efficiency
- Conduct security architecture and design reviews for systems and applications
- Build automation to detect, monitor, and remediate security issues
- Work across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains
Skills
- Strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc)
- Experience with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity
- Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications
- Solid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategies
- Experience working with cloud platforms and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing and implementing defensive controls around endpoint and SaaS applications
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teams
- Have participated in or supported incident response events
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- Experience building bespoke solutions in high-growth and high-complexity environments
- Experience with log aggregation, secrets management, or endpoint security tools
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems
