Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. APR Staffing is a professional and technical staffing company that augments customer workforces with technical and administrative professionals. The Senior Software Engineer will develop high-volume, mission-critical web applications through hands-on coding, technical design, implementation, debugging, and testing while collaborating with developers and business teams. The role also involves mentoring fellow developers and leveraging AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Operate within an Agile Scrum SDLC environment including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging and testing of system software applications
- Develop, debug, and deliver enterprise applications leveraging AI tools as part of the SDLC process on a daily basis
- Participate in technical design and implementation
- Proactively raise issues if specifications will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product
- Collaborate with fellow developers in areas of expertise as well as various roles across the organization
- Demonstrate self-directed and bias-for-action mindsets to solve problems
- Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise
Skills
- • 5+ years of experience developing software in JavaScript, Typescript and/or Node
- • 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Next.JS framework
- • 5+ years of experience developing databases using SQL
- • 3+ years of experience deploying and running code in cloud environments (Azure strongly preferred)
- • Experience leverage AI tools to analyze, design, debug, code and other tasks daily
- • Experience writing multi-tier components for high volume systems
- • Experience with infrastructure management a plus
- • Strong oral and written communications skills
- • Outstanding troubleshooting and technical support skills
- • 2+ additional years of experience developing software in common languages like C#, Java, Python, etc
- • 3+ years of experience with advanced infrastructure experience
- • Experience leveraging AI agents to chain tasks and create workflows for various needs of the project
- • Experience using NoSQL database systems a plus
- • 1+ additional years of experience developing software in common languages like C#, Java, Python, etc
- • Prior experience leading teams with a proven track record of being high-performing and trusted
- • Experience open-sourcing AI workflows to team members and the organization to uplift the company's AI usage
- • Advanced degree or training in related technical field preferred
