Remote Position

[Remote] Senior Technical Program Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering

🌍 Remote Β· United States πŸ’Ό Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the technical strategy and execution of Forward Deployed Engineering engagements across NVIDIA Nemotron and NVIDIA Cosmos. The role aligns NVIDIA, partners, and end customers from use-case planning through production, while shaping technical decisions, automating program work, and creating repeatable delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • This role sets the technical direction for each FDE engagement and serves as the main point of contact for NVIDIA, the partner, and the end customer. It turns each use case into a clear plan with scope, milestones, and success criteria, and keeps all three parties aligned from first conversation to production. Collaboration is central: build trust and shared goals across NVIDIA, partners, and customers
  • We run programs with agents. Automate everything that can be automated, including SOWs, status updates, meeting synthesis, and risk flags, so the team’s time goes to decisions and relationships. Build and share agent workflows, and review their output with good judgment
  • The work is technical. Work with FDEs and partner engineers to understand the use case, data, evaluation approach, and post-training and deployment path well enough to scope engagements and spot risks early. Shape the data and program strategy, make the technical decisions that drive outcomes, and use agents to surface issues sooner
  • Build the way we deliver- Define the processes and artifacts that make every engagement repeatable, and turn what works into playbooks, templates, and reusable agent workflows. Drive each engagement through delivery, work with legal and partner teams on agreements, data sharing, and compute access, and clear blockers early
  • Look across partners, use cases, open model builders, and cloud providers to see where NVIDIA adds the most value and spot repeating patterns. Work hand in hand with FDEs, sales, partner, and solutions teams, keep NVIDIA and partner priorities aligned, report progress to leadership, and bring the patterns and insights from the field back to Product, Engineering, and Research

Skills

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in technical program management, solutions architecture, forward deployed engineering, or technical customer delivery, including leading complex multi-party programs from proof of concept to production
  • Working knowledge of the LLM post-training lifecycle (data, evaluation, fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, deployment), with enough technical depth to engage credibly with ML engineers
  • Practical comfort with Python and cloud and GPU infrastructure
  • Strong hands-on experience using AI agents and agentic workflows to run programs, including planning, tracking, and reporting, and the judgment to validate their output
  • Experience working across the open model, post-training and harness, and cloud provider ecosystems, including multi-company engagements with executives
  • Experience shaping SOWs and agreements, working with legal and procurement, and handling data sharing and governance
  • Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and decisions with incomplete information, and to define metrics and drive to outcomes
  • Clear communication of complex technical ideas, from engineers to C-level executives
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Built custom agentic solutions that automate program and engagement work, with a track record of delivering faster, better results
  • A strong record of coordinating multi-party engagements and driving delivery for complex technical efforts
  • Prior experience working with FDEs or in FDE engagements
  • A proactive style, with the ability to move engagements forward even in uncertain or ambiguous scenarios
