[Remote] Smile CDR Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Smile CDR Administrator will administer and configure enterprise interoperability environments, support FHIR APIs and integrations, troubleshoot platform issues, monitor performance, and ensure security and compliance with healthcare interoperability mandates.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Smile CDR environments across Development, Test, and Production
• Manage Smile CDR modules, partitions, repositories, channels, security, and API configurations
• Support FHIR R4 repositories, SMART on FHIR, and interoperability implementations
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity
• Troubleshoot platform, API, and data ingestion issues
• Configure and support REST APIs and integration endpoints
• Partner with architecture, engineering, and business teams on interoperability initiatives
• Support CMS, ONC, Prior Authorization, Patient Access, Provider Access, Payer-to-Payer, and BCBSA Interoperability programs
• Implement security controls, access management, audit logging, and compliance requirements
• Create operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and platform standards
• Coordinate vendor support activities when required and drive internal ownership of the platform

Skills

• The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of Smile CDR architecture, FHIR standards, REST APIs, security, and healthcare interoperability solutions
• 5+ years of healthcare interoperability experience
• 3+ years administering or supporting Smile CDR
• HL7 FHIR (R4)

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Gitlab pipelines

• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable
