Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Honeywell Technologies is hiring a Software Engineering Co-op to contribute to software development projects. The co-op will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop, test, debug, and improve software applications and development processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and test software applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies
- Write code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment
- Design, develop, and demo as needed within a delivery team
- Participate in peer reviews to both share and receive feedback
Skills
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
- Must graduate in December 2027 or later
- Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the Co-Op
- Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
- Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends
