[Remote] Sr. Consultant Red Hat OpenStack

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a Senior Consultant to support Red Hat OpenStack and Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift environments. The role focuses on OpenStack administration, RHOSP-to-RHOSO migration and adoption, OpenShift administration, troubleshooting, networking, storage, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• In addition to the Red Hat OpenStack Administration courses (CL110 and/or CL210), the consultant should have the following skills and training, particularly if they are new to RHOSO:
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO)
• Knowledge of the migration/adoption process from RHOSP 17.1 to RHOSO
• Strong Red Hat OpenShift Administration skills, as RHOSO is deployed and managed on the OpenShift platform
• A solid understanding of OpenStack architecture, administration, troubleshooting, networking, storage, and day-to-day operations
• The consultant should ideally have a combination of traditional RHOSP administration experience and OpenShift skills, with the ability to ramp up quickly on RHOSO and the RHOSP 17.1-to-RHOSO transition

• Deploy Control Plane Services and Manage Data Plane Nodes
• Upgrade a Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) 17.1 to Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO) 18 using the Adoption Mechanism
• Red Hat OpenShift Administration I: Operating a Production Cluster (DO180) course

Skills

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO)
• Knowledge of the migration/adoption process from RHOSP 17.1 to RHOSO
• Strong Red Hat OpenShift Administration skills, as RHOSO is deployed and managed on the OpenShift platform
• A solid understanding of OpenStack architecture, administration, troubleshooting, networking, storage, and day-to-day operations
