[Remote] Sr Director - Program Management

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Vernova is seeking an IT leader to manage the Services Outage Execution portfolio for Gas Power Global Services. The role oversees application portfolio governance, field IT readiness, connectivity, productivity programs, AI-enabled data accessibility, and cross-functional technology delivery supporting customer outage commitments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic owner for the Services Outage Execution process and its associated application portfolio
• Oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of critical applications supporting outage workflows
• Evaluate current processes to identify gaps, ensuring IT solutions evolve to meet changing business requirements
• Lead the proactive provisioning and lifecycle management of IT equipment, including hardware and PC availability for a mobile, customer-facing workforce
• Ensure robust onsite connectivity solutions are defined and implemented, guaranteeing that field teams have the bandwidth and network stability required to complete GE Vernova work
• Establish and enforce deployment protocols that ensure field employees are fully "site-ready" before arriving at customer locations
• Drive the identification, business case development, and execution of technology programs focused on increasing the output and efficiency of field personnel
• Lead efforts to improve data accessibility and visibility, ensuring field teams have the right information at the right time to meet complex customer commitments
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions, managing program delivery from concept through to field implementation
• Ensure all IT-led initiatives are directly tied to the successful delivery of outage milestones and customer satisfaction
• Partner with operations and field service leaders to advocate for and deliver the technology needed for successful site execution

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in   Information Technology areas with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Proven track record of setting targets, executing a plan, and delivering results
• Relevant experience with demonstrated solving of business problems with technology
• Ability to plan and provide structure and organization in a fast paced, changing environment
• Effectively manages risk and uncertainty for self and team
• Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to decompose problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are not 100% defined
• Evaluates products & processes to assure compliance
• Measures the impact of trends (cyclical or a shift) and takes action
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization, and with other GE businesses and partners
• Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization
• Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
