Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zeektek is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines using Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on integrating Informatica MDM mastered data, validating data quality, and supporting downstream systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing and transformation
- Build and maintain integrations between Informatica MDM and downstream systems, preserving golden records, cross-references, and match/merge outcomes
- Validate data quality and reconcile mastered data across systems
- Collaborate with data analysts, data stewards, and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Troubleshoot data integration issues and optimize pipeline performance
- Document processes and maintain technical specifications
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong SQL expertise (query writing, optimization, database design)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (MDM Hub / Multidomain MDM)
- Understanding of MDM concepts: match/merge, survivorship, golden records, data stewardship
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline architecture
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with Informatica Data Director (IDD) or Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
- Healthcare master data experience (patient, provider, location, or EMPI)
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other modern data stack tools
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouse concepts
