Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Protingent Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a next-generation AI, quantum, and advanced computing platform. The role designs, builds, automates, and operates cloud and on-premises infrastructure for a cybersecurity and data observability platform, with a focus on OCI, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Operation: Design and operate scalable infrastructure on OCI and On-prem environments
- Kubernetes Environment Management: Build and manage Kubernetes-based production environments
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop infrastructure as code using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar technologies
- CI/CD & DevSecOps: Build and improve CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines
- Cloud Security & Observability: Implement cloud security, networking, monitoring, and observability solutions
- Platform Reliability: Improve platform reliability, availability, performance, and automate operational deployment processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, AI/ML, software engineering, and product teams
Skills
- Strong cloud infrastructure and On-prem engineering experience
- Direct experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Rust, Go, Java, or similar programming languages
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
- Proven background in CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
- Systems-level experience with Linux, networking, and cloud security
- Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) or other major cloud platforms
- Prior cybersecurity platform experience
- Exposure to high-performance or distributed computing architectures
- Experience with high-volume data platforms, observability, and telemetry systems
- Experience supporting enterprise or government environments
- Experience working in high-growth, transformation, or private equity-backed environments
