[Remote] Chief Accounting Officer

Compliance 360 Consultants is hiring a Chief Accounting Officer to oversee the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks. The role leads financial reporting, accounting policies, budgeting and forecasting collaboration, team management, audits, internal controls, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• The Chief Accounting Officer is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks
• This role involves directing the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, establishing and maintaining accounting policies, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• The Chief Accounting Officer will collaborate with executive leadership and engagement teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and client advisory work
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the accounting team, reviewing complex transactions, coordinating audits, strengthening internal controls, and supporting compliance with international and local accounting standards
• The individual will also contribute to continuous process improvement, implementation of accounting systems, and development of best practices that align with the firm’s risk management and governance objectives

Skills

• Strong technical proficiency in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to oversee complex financial operations and policies
• Demonstrated expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including consolidation, analysis, and regulatory disclosures
• Experience in managing accounting teams, coordinating audits, and implementing robust internal controls and governance practices
• Solid understanding of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), regulatory compliance, and best practices in professional services or consulting environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; prior leadership experience in a senior accounting or
• Relevant professional certification such as Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or equivalent (e.g., CA, ACCA) strongly preferred
