[Remote] Sr Staff Software Engineer- Access Security

The Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect, develop, optimize, and maintain AI-powered Access Security features for identity and access intelligence, while leading backend architecture, cross-functional delivery, and engineering mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to craft solutions that balance innovation, performance, and business impact
• Champion the responsible use of LLM frameworks, AI agents, and AI-driven access intelligence to deliver enterprise-ready capabilities for identity and access use cases
• Explore emerging technologies and patterns in identity and access management that help us deliver greater customer value while improving solution resilience, scalability, and performance
• Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables, including architecture, design, quality, performance, maintainability, and code reviews
• Integrate automated testing into development workflows to ensure consistent quality across releases
• Mentor and guide other engineers by sharing engineering practices, raising quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement in testing, reliability, and production readiness
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, steering capabilities from early design and architecture to release, operational oversight, and ongoing stability

Skills

• Practical experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into production workflows, such as decision support, risk analysis, automation, or security-focused access intelligence
• 10+ years in backend software development, with deep technical hands-on experience building complex Enterprise production software
• Strong proficiency in Golang and other key programming languages (e.g., Python or Java), with a strong architectural vision
• Expertise designing and implementing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs, with strong proficiency in data modeling, SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and graph technologies such as Neo4j
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization
• Proven track record of leading major, cross-functional technical projects from conception to launch
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), IGA, and PAM solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on familiarity building with cutting-edge LLM frameworks and provider libraries like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong sense of ownership and customer focus, with a passion for user experience and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
