[Remote] Staff Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aduro Advisors provides fund administration and client support to venture capital and private equity clients. The Staff Accountant performs core data and entry-level accounting work for client engagements, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
• Maintain investor information, investment information, and other fund metrics in FundPanel system
• Maintain legal documents including formation documents, investment documents, and other relevant client information in Box
• Process accounts payable on a weekly basis using [Bill.com](http://Bill.com)
• Prepare intercompany invoicing process and process reimbursements
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax process
• Handles special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills

• You have 0 – 2 years of work experience or professional internships in relevant accounting roles
• Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting
• You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
• You have a track record of being a project leader and have strong organizational skills
• You see the value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details make the difference
• You have working experience with Excel and Word
• You are comfortable with learning new software systems and tend to be someone that likes to be proficient in any system them use
• You have always had a passion for numbers and want to build your accounting career
• Diverse work experience in a service focused role is a plus!
