Remote Telehealth Veterinarian – California Licensed
SoCal TeleVet | Remote | Independent Contractor (1099) SoCal TeleVet is a growing, privately owned veterinary telehealth business founded and operated by a Registered Veterinary Technician. We’re looking for California-licensed veterinarians to join our team and provide convenient, compassionate virtual veterinary care. This is a flexible opportunity for veterinarians looking to supplement their income, work remotely, and set availability around their existing schedule.
What You'll Do
- Conduct 15-minute live video veterinary exams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment when appropriate
- Prescribe non-controlled medications when medically appropriate
- Provide medication refills and follow-up recommendations
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Refer patients for in-person or emergency care when needed
- Collaborate with our veterinary technician team
Compensation & Schedule $24 per completed 15-minute appointment Veterinarians receive 40% of our current $60 virtual exam fee. Four completed appointments = $96 in contractor compensation.

Qualifications
- Active California veterinary license
- Strong client communication skills
- Comfortable providing care through live video
- Reliable computer and internet connection
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with our team
- Experience with rabbits, birds, reptiles, and small mammals is a plus!

We provide virtual veterinary exams and prescription support throughout California, along with in-home veterinary technician services and pet care professional house visits serving most of Southern California and licensed vet tech virtual guidance.
