Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The client is a national general contractor building hyperscale and mission-critical data center campuses. The Travel Project Manager will lead projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout, manage budgets and subcontractors, coordinate with project stakeholders, and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Leading data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout
- Managing budgets, forecasting, change orders and monthly billing
- Overseeing subcontractor buyout and performance
- Managing RFIs and submittals
- Serving as the main point of contact for owners, designers and commissioning agents
- Mentoring junior staff
Skills
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in ground-up data centers/ large-scale commercial construction projects
- Willingness to travel for extended periods
- OSHA 30
- Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field (nice to have but not a requirement)
- PMP or LEED AP a plus
