Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Onward Search is recruiting for an unnamed client in the digital and user experience industry. The UX Designer will own the UX process for product initiatives, creating user-centered digital experiences and delivering design solutions that balance technical and business considerations.
Responsibilities
- Own the UX process for assigned product initiatives from planning and concept development through implementation
- Utilize user-centered design methodologies to create intuitive, desirable experiences that incorporate business requirements, customer insights, research findings, and user behavior
- Lead UX efforts across projects of varying scale and complexity with minimal supervision
- Produce comprehensive UX deliverables including use cases, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and detailed design specifications
- Develop and explore multiple solutions to complex design problems, balancing near-term roadmap needs with longer-term product considerations
Skills
- 5+ years of professional UX, interaction, or product design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating original design work, strong UX thinking, clearly documented processes, and completed outcomes
- Strong proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma
- Demonstrated experience taking products or features from initial problem definition through implementation
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, user flows, usability, and user-centered design principles
