Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. First Business Bank is hiring a Vice President – Floorplan Financing to grow its independent dealer financing business across Western U.S. markets. The role develops and manages dealer relationships, wins new business, presents credit requests, monitors portfolio risk, and provides responsive client service.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop relationships with established, high-performing independent auto dealers
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified dealer prospects throughout the Western territory
- Win new floorplan financing relationships and meet or exceed growth, volume, and profitability goals
- Develop referral relationships within dealer, auction, and automotive industry networks
- Grow existing relationships and identify opportunities for additional Bank products and services
- Maintain appropriate pricing and profitability
- Prepare and present credit requests to the Loan Committee
- Coordinate closing documentation and ensure clients understand and complete required documents
- Manage a portfolio of independent dealer clients and build long-term relationships with dealer principals and key decision-makers
- Develop a strong understanding of each dealer’s business, inventory, financial performance, and financing needs
- Maintain an active presence in your territory through regular client and prospect visits
- Monitor loan performance, financial statements, collateral, and other indicators of dealer performance
- Use available monitoring tools to identify potential risk and changing conditions within the portfolio
- Partner with the central office to proactively address and mitigate risk
- Gather and submit required quarterly and annual client financial information within established timelines
- Partner with the central office to provide dealers and auctions with responsive, high-touch, concierge-level service
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to clients by combining industry knowledge, responsiveness, and strong relationship management
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in financial services with a proven sales record
- 5+ years of automotive industry experience
- Preferably in inventory finance
- Ability to work independently and use independent and professional judgment with minimal supervision
