[Remote] Vice President of Finance

The role leads financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, internal controls, and cross-functional financial decision-making, while building and mentoring the finance team.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy for the organization
• This position leads budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support growth and profitability
• The Vice President of Finance will manage financial reporting, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, advising senior leadership on financial risks and opportunities, optimizing internal controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on pricing, investments, and cost management
• The role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team and establishing efficient systems and processes

Skills

• Strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and support strategic decision-making
• Experience in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling
• Expertise in Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including management reports, board presentations, and KPI dashboards
• Leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating with senior executives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience with ERP and business intelligence tools
• An MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in retail, luxury goods, or consumer brands
