[Remote] Vice President of Financial Systems

Fix Auto UK is hiring a Vice President of Financial Systems to oversee the strategy, implementation, and optimisation of financial systems across the organisation. The role leads system design and integration, improves financial processes and data governance, and provides leadership with timely insights while ensuring systems support compliance and organisational growth.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Financial Systems is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, and optimisation of financial systems across the organisation
• This position leads the design and integration of tools supporting financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for decision-making
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with Finance and IT teams to evaluate system requirements, managing system upgrades and integrations, and establishing governance standards for financial data and workflows
• The role also involves analysing financial processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement, and supporting leadership with timely insights, dashboards, and reports
• The Vice President will mentor a cross-functional team, partner with stakeholders across the business, and ensure financial systems align with regulatory requirements and organisational growth objectives

Skills

• Strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
• Expertise in financial reporting and financial statements, with the ability to interpret results and support regulatory and management reporting
• Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with data analysis, financial modelling, and interpreting complex datasets
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and partnering with senior stakeholders in a multi-site or franchise environment
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and best practices in financial operations and data governance
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and financial concepts for diverse audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Experience leading financial systems strategy, selection, implementation, and integration (e.g., ERP, EPM, BI tools)
• Advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., MBA, ACCA, CIMA)
