Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric DCX is partnering with an unnamed ENR Top-10 General Contractor to hire a Vice President of Operations. The role provides executive leadership for a hyperscale data center construction portfolio, overseeing operational strategy, financial performance, delivery, leadership development, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leading Directors of Construction, Project Executives, and senior operational teams
- Owning portfolio P&L, forecasting, margin performance, and operational budgets
- Setting operational strategy and ensuring consistent delivery
- Building executive-level relationships with hyperscale clients and key delivery partners
- Overseeing workforce planning, leadership recruitment, and succession planning
- Managing portfolio risk, commercial exposure, and escalated project challenges
- Aligning preconstruction, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
Skills
- Experienced Vice Presidents of Operations, Regional Vice Presidents, and Directors of Construction
- A strong track record of leading complex construction portfolios, managing financial performance, and developing senior leadership teams
