Remote Volunteer Training & Onboarding Director Cougs 4 Kids

Help Cougs 4 Kids create a consistent, welcoming, and safety-centered onboarding experience for volunteers supporting youth programs, mentoring, alumni engagement, service projects, and communications. We are seeking a volunteer Training and Onboarding Director to design role-based learning, coordinate orientation, and verify readiness across remote and optional location-based volunteer roles. Responsibilities: Map screening, onboarding, training, access, supervision, and refresher requirements by role Develop orientations, guides, checklists, videos, assessments, and completion records Ensure youth safeguarding, boundaries, privacy, consent, incident reporting, accessibility, nondiscrimination, and communication are covered Coordinate trainers, schedules, train-the-trainer sessions, and recurring refreshers Partner with program, mentorship, family, alumni, events, safety, and volunteer leaders Maintain versions, source materials, attendance, completion, and exception records Improve onboarding using feedback, incidents, role performance, and volunteer retention Prevent assignment before required screening and training are complete Qualifications: Experience in learning and development, instructional design, onboarding, volunteer management, youth programs, HR, education, or training operations Strong curriculum, facilitation, project management, writing, and organization Ability to create accessible learning for varied roles and experience levels Willingness to complete background screening and required training Distributed volunteer-team experience is helpful This is a remote, recurring leadership role available within the United States.
