[Remote] Y Analytics, Responsible Investing, Summer Research Assistant, Internship

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TPG’s Y Analytics team is seeking a Responsible Investing Research Assistant to support research and analysis of social impact from existing and potential investments. The role contributes to thought leadership and improved responsible investing and sustainability performance across TPG’s portfolio through research, deal work, and engagement with portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Y Analytics is seeking a Responsible Investing Research Assistant to support academic and industry research and analysis of social impact from existing and potential investments, prepare thought leadership, and drive improved performance on responsible investing and sustainability factors across TPG’s global investment portfolio
• The Research Assistant will contribute to fast-paced teams conducting research, deal work and engagement with TPG’s portfolio companies on responsible investing topics, including human capital management, external stakeholder relations, environmental health and safety, climate, and other sustainability topics

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
• Undergraduate student who has completed at least two years of study, or a graduate student, currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Business, Economics, Public Administration, or another relevant program
• Experience or demonstrated interest in responsible investing, corporate social responsibility, climate/sustainability, consulting, finance, impact investing, or a related field
• Ability to efficiently conduct and synthesize market research
• Ability to use AI-enabled research and productivity tools effectively, responsibly, and with appropriate judgement
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English
• Experience with sustainability performance assessment/reporting frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI) is a plus
