Robotics Jobs Costa Rica (Remote) Join Rex.zone to build and deploy real-world robotic systems across perception, SLAM, motion planning, control, and validation. You will develop ROS/ROS2 components, iterate in simulation, validate on hardware, and improve reliability in production autonomy pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Own robotics features from prototype through deployment Implement perception and sensor fusion (camera, LiDAR, IMU, encoders) Develop and tune SLAM/localization and state-estimation pipelines Build motion planning and control modules with safety constraints Create simulation scenarios for regression and performance testing Instrument logging/telemetry, perform root-cause analysis, and debug production issues Write integration tests, enforce QA gates, and maintain runbooks/documentation
Required Qualifications
Mid-to-senior experience shipping robotics systems Strong Python and C++ Hands-on ROS/ROS2 (nodes, messaging, launch, tooling) Understanding of SLAM, calibration, control systems, and autonomy debugging with logs/bags Linux, Git, CI/CD, and test automation experience
Preferred Qualifications
Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or similar simulation experience MoveIt or constraint-based motion planning frameworks Embedded/real-time constraints and interfaces (CAN/I2C/SPI) Safety/verification practices for autonomy and edge deployment optimization (e.g., Jetson) Remote Work This is a fully Remote , FULL_TIME role with asynchronous collaboration via design docs, code reviews, and QA checklists.
