The Role & Opportunity:We are seeking a highly motivated, articulate, and autonomous Outside Sales Representative to join our business development team. This role is engineered for a pure hunter who excels at identifying property needs, conducting comprehensive visual assessments, and providing immediate structural solutions to property owners. At Shannon Built Co., a homeowner's signature directly translates to a high-ticket payout.To respect our representatives' cash flow and eliminate the standard months-long wait for construction wrap-ups, we utilize an accelerated payout cycle—your commission is calculated and distributed the very week after project operations begin on-site.Representatives who consistently meet or exceed their quarterly volume targets will be fast-tracked into a permanent corporate position featuring a competitive W2 base salary and structured bonuses.Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Property Assessments: Evaluate residential and commercial properties with a keen eye for necessary maintenance, structural updates, or potential aesthetic renovations, translating property vulnerabilities into proactive project solutions. Independent Lead Generation: Build and maintain an active regional sales pipeline using modern networking, localized market outreach, relationship-building with realtors, and commercial property engagement. Consultative Presentations & Estimating: Meet face-to-face with prospective clients to understand their architectural goals, outline project scopes, deliver precise estimates, and secure project authorizations during the initial consultation. Strategic Client Incentives: Utilize pre-authorized project promotions and flexible pricing adjustments (up to 15%) to accommodate client budgets and secure immediate project commitments. Commission & Pricing Structure: Profit-Share Commission: 8% to 12% of the total project net profit. Because custom decking, specialized carpentry, and remodeling command exceptionally strong profit margins, this layout ensures significant payouts per closed contract. Qualifications: Proven Sales Track Record: 1–2 years of success in outside sales, B2B business development, home services, or construction consulting. The Contractor Mindset: Exceptional time-management skills, high autonomy, and the intrinsic drive to manage a territory successfully without micro-management. Professionalism & Integrity: A polished, professional presentation and excellent verbal communication skills suitable for consulting with private homeowners and corporate stakeholders alike.
