Sales Representative – Sauna & Wellness Products (Remote) - United States Base Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 | $80,000 OTE About the Opportunity Our client is a growing online retailer specializing in premium saunas, cold plunges, and red-light therapy equipment. The Company is seeking a knowledgeable, curious, and personable Sales Representative to guide customers through high-value purchases ranging from $5,000 to $30,000. This is a consultative sales role for someone who enjoys understanding products in depth, answering technical questions, and helping customers make confident, informed decisions. Rather than relying on scripts or aggressive sales tactics, you'll build trust through expertise, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
Consult with prospective customers through live chat, phone, text, and email to understand their needs, answer questions, and recommend appropriate products. Develop deep product knowledge across sauna systems, heaters, wood types, controls, electrical requirements, ventilation, and installation considerations. Help customers navigate technical questions involving sauna sizing, heater capacity, electrical specifications, infrared configurations, and residential installation requirements. Guide buyers through complex purchasing decisions, balancing their preferences, space, budget, and intended use. Manage leads, maintain organized follow-up activity, and help move prospective customers toward confident purchasing decisions. Track customer interactions and sales opportunities using Google Sheets and existing communication and e-commerce platforms. Contribute ideas to improve the sales process, customer experience, and follow-up practices as the business grows. Build expertise over time and help support the evolution toward expanded sales coverage. What We're Looking For 1–4 years of sauna sales or consultative selling experience , ideally involving sauna systems, heaters, infrared saunas, or related wellness products. Genuine intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly absorb technical information and translate it into practical customer recommendations. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility during conversations involving significant financial commitments. Excellent written and verbal English, with clear, professional, natural communication that feels personal rather than scripted. Technical aptitude and comfort learning about electrical requirements, residential construction, ventilation, and installation logistics. Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple customer conversations and sales opportunities independently. A long-term mindset and interest in becoming a subject-matter expert within a growing business.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling traditional saunas, infrared saunas, sauna heaters, cold plunges, or related wellness equipment. Personal sauna ownership or hands-on experience with sauna installation, construction, or electrical systems. Experience in high-ticket, consultative sales where product knowledge and customer trust directly influence purchasing decisions. Compensation & Work Environment $40,000 - $45,000 annual base salary $80,000 OTE on target achievement.
