SCADA solutions consultant

Customer Solution Consultant – SCADA Location: Houston, Texas I'm working with a growing energy technology business looking to hire a Customer Solution Consultant with strong hands-on SCADA experience to support renewable energy customers across North America. This is a customer-facing technical role suited to someone who understands SCADA configuration, troubleshooting and data integration, and enjoys solving complex technical issues rather than simply monitoring systems. The Role Configure, maintain and troubleshoot SCADA and historian platforms supporting renewable energy assets. Investigate data loss, communication failures and stale data across devices, RTUs, networks and SCADA configurations. Support integrations using industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP, DNP3, OPC UA and MQTT. Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues, manage support tickets and meet service-level agreements. Use SQL and APIs to investigate data issues and support system integrations. Collaborate with engineering, product and customer teams to improve system performance and reliability. What We're Looking For 4+ years of hands-on SCADA configuration and integration experience. Experience with AVEVA System Platform, Wonderware, InTouch/OMI, Historian, Ignition, OSIsoft PI or similar platforms. Practical knowledge of Modbus TCP, DNP3, OPC UA and MQTT. Strong troubleshooting skills across industrial devices, communications networks and SCADA systems. Exposure to renewable energy or power generation environments, including solar, wind, battery storage, substations, power plant controllers or energy management systems. Confident communicating with customers, managing technical issues and explaining solutions clearly.
