Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Location: Remote – USA Experience: 3+ Years Work Authorization: Open / As specified by client Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile development teams and ensure effective delivery of projects through Scrum practices. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Stakeholders, and other teams to remove impediments, improve team productivity, and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate daily Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and values. Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning. Identify, track, and remove team impediments and delivery blockers. Monitor sprint progress, velocity, burndown/burnup charts, and other Agile metrics. Promote transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Help teams improve estimation, planning, delivery, and sprint predictability. Coordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders. Protect the team from unnecessary interruptions and scope changes during sprints. Facilitate communication between technical teams, Product Owners, management, and business stakeholders. Identify delivery risks and escalate issues when appropriate. Support Agile transformation and adoption across the organization. Maintain Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project-management tools. Conduct retrospective sessions and ensure actionable improvement items are followed through. Support release planning and coordination when required. Required Skills 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Scrum Master. Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, and SAFe methodologies. Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching development teams. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of sprint planning, backlog management, estimation, and Agile metrics. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams. Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and impediments and drive them toward resolution.
