🚨 Hiring: Security Analyst – Incident Response & SOC Operations 🔐 📍 Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Remote) 🕒 Work Schedule: Eastern Time Zone We are looking for an experienced Security Analyst to support security monitoring, incident response, threat investigation, and Security Operations Center (SOC) operations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze security events across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms. Investigate security incidents, phishing attacks, malware, and suspicious activities. Perform root cause analysis, assess impact, and coordinate incident escalation. Develop incident reports, investigation timelines, and remediation recommendations. Improve SOC playbooks, detection rules, alert thresholds, and correlation logic. Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Collaborate with security engineering teams to enhance monitoring and incident response capabilities. Maintain SOC documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. ✅ Required Qualifications: Associate degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience. 2+ years of experience in security monitoring and incident response. 2+ years of hands-on experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework. 2+ years of experience creating security dashboards and reports. 2+ years of experience supporting large-scale SOC operations. Ability to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours. ⭐ Preferred Skills: Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM/XDR SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence Linux, network administration, and network design Firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, and intrusion detection/prevention systems Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, or GPEN 📩 Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
