Senior Account Executive
Senior Account Executive, Seattle, WA Engineering is being changed by agentic AI. You can watch it happen, or you can be the person who brings it to the companies that build aircraft, cars and devices. Our client is a venture-backed AI software company building an AI agent platform for engineering teams. Its product helps the most complex manufacturing industries design, simulate and develop products faster. It works with global cloud, CAD and consulting partners, and is already used by engineering teams at major automotive and aerospace OEMs. They are building out their US sales team and want a Senior Account Executive based in the Seattle area to open new accounts in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. What you’ll do You’ll join a distributed sales team across the US and Europe and report to the US VP of Sales. This is a new-business role. You’ll find, qualify and close new logos among engineering-led manufacturers, with a focus on aerospace, automotive and mechanical engineering teams in consumer electronics. What you bring An engineering foundation: an engineering degree or hands-on experience as an engineer, so you can talk credibly with technical buyers. Engineering software or services experience: you’ve sold or worked with CAD, CAE, simulation, PLM or similar tools, or worked at an engineering services provider or consultancy where you saw how engineering projects are scoped, delivered and sold. B2B SaaS sales track record: you’ve closed technically complex software deals, ideally in a SaaS model. A hunter mindset: you enjoy building pipeline from scratch and winning net-new logos, not managing an existing book. OEM and Tier 1 relationships: you’ve sold into or worked with automotive or aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, and you’re comfortable working with senior and C-level stakeholders. Presence: you can represent the company at conferences and industry events. Curiosity about AI: you don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re informed and eager to discuss where AI is taking engineering. Nice to have: project management, technical team lead or business development experience. Location: Seattle area, WA (remote within the region, with travel to customers and events).
