Senior Accountant

Position Summary Quintessa Aesthetic Centers is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and month-end closing activities across multiple business entities. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing automated transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. As Quintessa continues to implement new financial technologies and automated processes, this role will focus on reviewing financial activity, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and efficient accounting operations. Responsibilities and Duties  Manage daily accounting activities across multiple business entities.  Review and validate automated sales, accounts payable, and credit card transactions imported into the accounting system.  Reconcile sales activity, merchant processing transactions, and bank deposits to the general ledger.  Oversee accounts payable processing, vendor records, and payment preparation.  Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.  Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across multiple business entities.  Review financial activity for accuracy and reasonableness, independently investigating and resolving discrepancies.  Monitor accounting system integrations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and internal controls. Qualifications / Skills  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.  Minimum of 4–5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and month-end close responsibilities.  Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.  Experience preparing and independently resolving account reconciliations.  Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.  Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and develop appropriate solutions.  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.  Experience with accounting software; Sage Intacct experience preferred.  Experience with multiple business entities, automated accounting systems, or healthcare accounting preferred.  Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.  Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
