Welcome to brighthush – Where Health Coverage Meets Human Connection

At brighthush, we’re more than a health‑insurance provider – we’re a movement dedicated to empowering families and individuals with clear, compassionate, and personalized coverage solutions. With a legacy spanning nearly a century, our team has pioneered actuarial models, integrated AI‑driven risk assessment, and continually raised the bar for quality, affordability, and customer empowerment. As we expand across the United States, we’re looking for bilingual leaders who can translate that legacy into everyday conversations with our clients.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Bilingual Licensed Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be the voice that guides families through the often complex world of health insurance. Your conversations will shape the customer experience, influence retention, and ultimately safeguard the well‑being of countless households. Working remotely, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a home‑office environment while being part of a high‑performing, collaborative team that values continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Outreach & Lead Generation: Execute high‑volume outbound calls using our advanced dialing system and curated prospect lists. Engage prospects with empathy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of their unique health needs.
  • Customer Education & Guidance: Translate complex health‑insurance concepts, benefits, and enrollment steps into clear, accessible language. Tailor information to each individual’s circumstances, ensuring they feel confident and informed.
  • Script Adherence & Regulatory Compliance: Follow approved scripts and regulatory guidelines while maintaining a natural, conversational tone that builds trust and rapport.
  • CRM Mastery & Data Integrity: Accurately record all interactions, follow‑ups, and outcomes in our CRM. Ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and timely updates to customer profiles.
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation: Identify customer concerns, provide immediate solutions, and appropriately escalated complex issues to specialized teams. Act as the first line of defense against churn.
  • Data Protection & Privacy: Safeguard sensitive customer information in compliance with privacy laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Inbound Support & Call Management: Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing timely assistance and redirecting to the right resources when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement & Learning: Participate in training, coaching, and cross‑functional learning to refine skills and stay current on product updates, compliance changes, and industry trends.
  • Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with teammates and partners across departments to deliver a seamless, end‑to‑end customer experience. Share best practices and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Performance Analytics: Track key metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Use data insights to refine outreach strategies and improve outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Accident & Health Insurance License in your state of residence.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Proven customer‑service experience, preferably in a call‑center or health‑insurance environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong empathy and active listening skills, enabling you to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism.
  • High attention to detail and meticulous record‑keeping abilities.
  • Self‑motivation and the ability to thrive independently while remaining an engaged team member.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high‑volume outbound calling, healthcare, Medicare, or sales support roles.
  • Prior remote work experience with proven productivity in a home‑office setting.
  • Knowledge of consumer protection regulations and data privacy laws.
  • Comfortable with technology platforms such as CRM systems, call‑routing software, and virtual collaboration tools.

Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: A genuine passion for helping people and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Communication Excellence: Mastery of both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
  • Problem‑Solving Agility: Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Comfortable analyzing metrics, tracking performance, and using insights to improve outcomes.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Thrives in a fast‑moving environment, handles change gracefully, and remains positive under pressure.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with cross‑functional teams, shares knowledge, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.
