Role: Senior Category Manager - Cloud, Software & Digital Services Location: Northridge, California Remote
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology or related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing, procurement or category management experience, including significant technology-category responsibility.
- Demonstrated record of independently leading large, complex technology negotiations.
- Deep experience negotiating enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, licensing and technology services agreements.
- Demonstrated work experience managing a high volume of simultaneous contracts, negotiations and renewals in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
- Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution and agreements to closure.
- Strong understanding of software licensing, SaaS and cloud commercial models.
- Experience negotiating enterprise agreements, MSAs, SaaS agreements, cloud agreements, licensing agreements and SOWs.
- Ability to analyze complex pricing structures and develop sophisticated negotiation strategies.
- Strong financial capabilities including TCO analysis, benchmarking and scenario modeling.
- Ability to influence senior IT and business leaders and constructively challenge supplier and internal assumptions.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct negotiation experience with major enterprise technology providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, AWS, ServiceNow, Google, Adobe or comparable strategic technology suppliers.
- Experience negotiating large enterprise licensing agreements and cloud consumption commitments.
- Experience with FinOps, software asset or license optimization.
- Experience sourcing AI and emerging technology solutions.
- Experience within medical device, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated global environment.
