About brighthush

brighthush is a high‑growth cybersecurity SaaS company that is redefining how organizations secure their mobile workforce. Our flagship virtual workspace platform lets users access enterprise applications and data from any mobile device—without leaving any data on the endpoint and while preserving personal privacy. With a robust foundation of $55 million in funding from leading investors, brighthush is expanding into new commercial and regulated markets, including federal, defense, financial services, and healthcare. Our mission is simple: empower security and IT leaders to deliver secure, zero‑trust mobility solutions that protect both the organization and its people.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager who is passionate about building long‑term, high‑value relationships with enterprise and regulated customers. In this role, you will own the post‑sale experience for a portfolio of accounts, driving onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansion. You will partner closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Product, and Support to become the trusted advisor that turns a first deployment into a lasting partnership. If you thrive on data, enjoy turning insights into action, and are energized by helping security leaders succeed, brighthush wants you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Adoption Champion – Design and execute success plans with clear milestones for each customer, ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to full utilization.
  • Retention & Growth Owner – Own gross and net retention for your book of business; your primary success metric will be the health and expansion of each account.
  • Health Score Steward – Continuously monitor usage data and health scores to flag renewal risk early, and collaborate with Account Executives to secure renewals.
  • Expansion Strategist – Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, generate qualified expansion pipeline, and work with Sales to close new revenue.
  • Multi‑Threaded Relationship Builder – Build relationships from administrators to CISOs and CIOs, and run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that demonstrate ROI and strategic value.
  • Voice of the Customer – Act as the customer advocate for Product and Engineering, and partner with Support on escalations to ensure rapid resolution.
  • Data‑Driven Account Management – Keep account plans, renewal forecasts, and CS KPIs current in Salesforce and your chosen Customer Success platform.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar post‑sale role in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record of owning a book of business and exceeding retention, renewal, and expansion targets.
  • Experience managing the full customer lifecycle for enterprise or mid‑market accounts.
  • Confidence presenting to technical and executive audiences, including Security Architects, CISOs, and CIOs.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience using health scores and KPIs to manage a portfolio.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and a Customer Success platform (e.g., Planhat, Gainsight, ChurnZero, or Totango).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Federal, Defense Industrial Base, Financial Services, or Healthcare customers.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, mobile security, VDI, or zero‑trust concepts.
  • Experience building CS playbooks and processes at a growth‑stage company.
  • Proactive, organized, and accountable, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and a Customer Success platform (e.g., Planhat, Gainsight, ChurnZero, or Totango).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to see the big picture and translate customer goals into actionable plans.
  • Relationship Management – Skilled at building trust across all levels of an organization.
  • Analytical Acumen – Comfortable working with data to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and drive decisions.
  • Communication Excellence – Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal formats.
  • Problem‑Solving – Quick to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Adaptability – Thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
