Senior Customer Success Manager – Robotics & AgTech Innovation Lead – Driving Adoption, Growth, and Customer Delight for Autonomous Agricultural Solutions at brighthush
About brighthush
At brighthush, we’re not just building robots – we’re engineering the future of outdoor work. Our fleet of autonomous ground machines is redefining how farmers, nurseries, vineyards, and other outdoor operations tackle labor shortages, boost efficiency, and unlock unprecedented productivity. Think of our robots as the Disney’s Wall‑E of agriculture: equipped with cutting‑edge computer vision, RTK GPS, and rugged mechanical systems, they can carry, tow, scout, and perform a wide range of tasks in real‑time, all while learning and adapting on the fly.
Founded in Philadelphia and now thriving with a vibrant office in central California, brighthush has rapidly scaled to a triple‑digit fleet deployed across diverse agricultural settings. Backed by leading investors in AgTech and autonomous technology, our mission is simple: free people from tedious work and solve the critical labor shortages that farmers and outdoor workers face worldwide.
We believe that the best solutions come from a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team. At brighthush, every employee can be themselves, share bold ideas, and drive innovation that directly impacts the lives of our customers.
Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will be the linchpin between our groundbreaking technology and the growers, field operators, and decision‑makers who rely on it. You will own the entire customer journey – from project kickoff through deployment, ongoing support, and renewal – ensuring that each account realizes maximum value from our robots. Your work will shape how farmers experience the future of agriculture, drive adoption, and create lasting partnerships that fuel our growth.
Day in the Life
Picture a typical day: you start with a quick stand‑up with the engineering team to review any on‑site issues, then head out to a vineyard in the morning to observe a robot in action. You’ll spend the afternoon debriefing with the customer, capturing feedback, and translating it into actionable insights for our product roadmap. Evenings are often spent analyzing performance dashboards, preparing renewal proposals, and mentoring junior team members. It’s a role that blends technical depth, strategic thinking, and genuine customer advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Expertise & Customer Advocacy – Become the go‑to expert on brighthush’s robot capabilities, use cases, and integration pathways. Translate technical details into actionable insights for customers and champion their voice within the organization.
- Project Management & Execution – Lead end‑to‑end implementation projects, maintaining timelines, milestones, and action items. Coordinate internal resources (engineering, support, field services) and external stakeholders (customers, partners) to deliver on commitments.
- On‑Site Engagement – Spend significant time on the field, observing robot performance, gathering feedback, and ensuring that deployments meet or exceed expectations.
- Continuous Improvement – Capture customer pain points and feature requests, then work with product and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements.
- Metrics & KPI Ownership – Track and report on customer satisfaction scores, renewal rates, upsell opportunities, and operational KPIs. Use data to drive decisions and demonstrate ROI.
- Escalation Management – Act as the first line of defense for technical issues, escalating to robot support or engineering when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Relationship Building – Develop deep, trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites, including growers, farm managers, and field technicians.
- Value Expansion – Identify and propose additional ways customers can leverage brighthush’s robots – whether through new use cases, additional units, or complementary services.
