Senior Customer Trust Analyst – EMEA – Driving Trust & Security Excellence for Global SaaS Solutions at brighthush
About brighthush
brighthush is a trailblazing cybersecurity SaaS provider that empowers businesses worldwide to protect their digital assets with confidence. With a relentless focus on innovation, compliance, and customer trust, we help organizations navigate the complex regulatory landscape—especially the EU AI Act and GDPR—while delivering cutting‑edge security solutions that scale with their growth. Our mission is simple: to make trust a tangible, measurable part of every customer’s journey.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Trust Analyst to spearhead and evolve our customer‑trust program across the EMEA region. As the first dedicated trust professional in this market, you will partner closely with brighthush’s EMEA Engineering, Sales, Security, and Legal teams to translate customer security requirements into actionable internal controls, evidence, and product enhancements. Your strategic leadership will ensure that brighthush’s control environment is presented with clarity and confidence to senior buyers, driving revenue at scale rather than just closing individual deals.
Why This Role Matters
In today’s digital economy, trust is the currency that differentiates market leaders. Your work will directly influence how prospects perceive brighthush’s security posture, shape the narrative around compliance, and ultimately unlock new revenue streams. By establishing a robust, scalable trust response process, you will become the linchpin that aligns technical excellence with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Own the EMEA Trust Program – Design the framework for prioritizing, escalating, and resolving trust inquiries, ensuring consistency across all customer interactions.
- Scale the Trust Response Process – Define and implement scalable procedures that maintain high quality and rapid turnaround as deal volume grows.
- Translate Customer Requirements – Convert complex security and privacy expectations into internal controls, evidence, and actionable product or operational changes.
- Bridge the Gap Between Expectations & Reality – Track, document, and communicate the resolution of any gaps between customer expectations and brighthush’s actual control environment.
- Collaborate Across Functions – Work hand‑in‑hand with EMEA Engineering, Sales, Security, and Legal to embed a culture of trust throughout the organization.
- Monitor Regulatory & Customer Landscape – Stay ahead of changes in the EU AI Act, GDPR, and other relevant regulations, adjusting the trust narrative accordingly.
- Maintain Trust Documentation – Keep the Safebase Trust Center and other responsive documentation up to date and aligned with the latest controls.
- Support Tooling & Automation – Partner with the Trust Center team to enhance tooling that underpins the trust response workflow.
- Engage in Strategic Projects – Lead ad‑hoc initiatives that drive continuous improvement of the trust program.
- Communicate Program Health – Provide regular updates to senior management and Sales leadership on program status, risks, and revenue impact.
Essential Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in customer‑facing security, trust, or compliance roles.
- Deep familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, and the nuances of security questionnaires and RFPs.
- Proven track record translating customer security requirements into internal controls and product enhancements.
- Strong project management skills with a history of driving resolution across cross‑functional teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication—able to distill complex security concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience helping customers build trust around products governed by the EU AI Act and GDPR.
- Experience engaging with German works councils and navigating European regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CISM, CISSP, CTPRP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

- Background in a fast‑paced, high‑growth technology company.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking – Able to connect trust program depth to revenue outcomes and long‑term business goals.
- Analytical Rigor – Strong data‑driven mindset to assess risk, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Stakeholder Management – Skilled at building rapport with senior external buyers and internal stakeholders alike.
- Conflict Resolution – Confidence to raise concerns, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity when expectations diverge from reality.
- Adaptability – Thrive in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple priorities across deals and initiatives.
- Leadership – Self‑starter who can build a customer‑trust function from the ground up and lead cross‑functional teams without a pre‑existing playbook.
- Process Orientation – High attention to detail and organizational rigor to manage program‑level outcomes.
