Senior Director Financial Planning Analysis

Role Description The Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning. This role oversees the development of financial models and analysis that support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and operational performance. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reports, partnering with business leaders to interpret results, and recommending actions to improve profitability and efficiency. The Senior Director will manage and mentor FP&A team members, standardize reporting tools and processes, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. The role also involves improving financial systems, enhancing data quality, and ensuring that financial planning aligns with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, with experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Advanced Analytical Skills and Financial Modeling capabilities, including building and maintaining complex models to support strategic and operational decisions. Proficiency in Financial Reporting, with a track record of creating clear, accurate, and timely management reports and dashboards. Experience in leading or managing FP&A teams, including mentoring and developing talent in a collaborative environment. Ability to synthesize complex financial data into concise insights and communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. High level of proficiency with spreadsheet tools and financial planning software; experience with ERP and BI tools is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and operate with integrity and sound judgment.
