Senior Director, Marketing Communications

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Marketing Communications to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will shape the global communications strategy for a fast-moving technology organization, strengthening brand visibility and protecting reputation across key markets. The role will partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is aligned, consistent, and responsive to business needs. It will also guide media engagement, crisis preparation, and digital channel strategy while leading a team of communications professionals. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $230,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities

Define and implement a global communications strategy aligned with enterprise objectives Build relationships with leading technology journalists to enhance brand visibility Develop response frameworks for crisis management Oversee corporate digital and social media channels to increase engagement Establish KPIs and metrics to measure impact and sentiment Provide media coaching and support to C-suite executives Lead and mentor a team of communications specialists Qualifications 5+ years of experience in global communications or public relations within a high-growth technology environment Proven ability to develop and implement multi-channel communication strategies Strong relationships with top-tier technology journalists and industry influencers Expertise in crisis management and safeguarding corporate reputation Exceptional interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration Adaptability and a growth mindset to continuously improve communication practices
