Life at brighthush – A Culture of Ownership and Impact
At brighthush, we don’t stay in our lanes. We are organized around problems, not job titles. Every team member takes ownership beyond their role, solves hard problems, and cares deeply about the impact they create. If something can be improved, fixed, or built, we step in without waiting for permission.
Being remote means we rely less on proximity and more on trust. We write things down, communicate openly, and move quickly because great teams aren’t built by sitting together—they’re built by pulling in the same direction.
We believe progress beats perfection, feedback is a gift, and doing the right thing matters, even when nobody is watching. And while we move with urgency, we never move alone.
The Mission – Leading the US GRC Frontier
The US is the most demanding and competitive GRC market in the world – home to security‑first enterprises, mature CISO organizations, and the highest bar for what a compliance partner should be. This is where our enterprise ambition is heading, and we’re looking for an Enterprise Customer Success Manager to own that frontier.
This is not a role for someone who wants a settled playbook handed to them. You’ll be one of the early voices defining how brighthush shows up for US enterprises: carrying a portfolio of high‑value accounts, earning the trust of senior security and compliance leaders, and turning first‑time adopters of AI‑powered GRC automation into long‑term, expanding partnerships. Your wins won’t just move your book – they’ll shape how we win this segment for the years ahead.
If you’re energized by high ownership, real stakes, and the chance to build the standard rather than inherit it, this is your seat.
Role Overview
As a Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager at brighthush, you will be the trusted partner for our most strategic US accounts. You will own the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding to expansion, ensuring that each client realizes maximum value from our autonomous trust platform. Your influence will extend beyond individual accounts; you will shape the way brighthush engages with the entire US GRC ecosystem, driving product adoption, revenue growth, and customer advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Net Revenue Retention and Your Book of Business. Take full ownership of a portfolio of high‑value US enterprise and mid‑market accounts, driving revenue retention, renewals, and expansion, and treating net revenue retention as your headline outcome.
- Establish brighthush as the Trusted GRC Partner for US Enterprises. Set the standard for how we deliver value in a new and fast‑scaling segment – building repeatable approaches to onboarding, adoption, and value realisation that later CSMs will run on.
- Be a Trusted Advisor to Security and Compliance Leadership. Engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, CPOs, Chief Risk Officers, and their teams as a strategic advisor, translating security, compliance, and best‑practice insight into outcomes that matter to their business.
- Lead Complex GRC Transformation Programs. Own the planning and execution of multi‑framework, multi‑stakeholder GRC transformation initiatives – spanning SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, and adjacent US‑relevant standards – partnering with internal product and delivery teams to align outcomes to customer goals.
- Own and Monitor Account Health. Proactively track and improve leading indicators – NPS, product adoption, usage depth, and engagement trends – to protect customer health and pre‑empt risk well before renewal.
- Drive Strategic Reviews. Lead Quarterly and Executive Business Reviews (QBRs and EBRs), presenting value realised and aligning on forward strategy with both operational and executive stakeholders.
- Shape Playbooks and Mentor as an SME. Act as a subject‑matter expert within the CS org – codifying what works, feeding it back into process and enablement, and mentoring other CSMs on complex enterprise scenarios as the team scales.
Essential Qualifications
- 8–12 years in customer success, consulting, or project management, with a strong track record in US enterprise and mid‑market accounts.
- Demonstrated ownership of net revenue retention, renewals, and expansion across a portfolio of strategic, high‑ACV accounts.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi‑phase digital or GRC transformation programs, with a focus on scaling impact and measurable results.
- Comfort operating in a new, fast‑moving segment – high autonomy, evolving process, and the judgment to build structure where little exists yet.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior security and executive stakeholders in US enterprises.
- Strong project management ability across multiple concurrent, complex initiatives.
- Proficiency with CRM and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in alignment with US business hours for real‑time engagement with enterprise accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the GRC, compliance, or cybersecurity industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, and GDPR.
- Background in AI‑driven automation or platform‑based solutions.
- Prior experience in a high‑growth startup environment, navigating ambiguity and driving rapid iteration.
- Advanced data‑analysis skills, including proficiency in SQL, Excel, or BI tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking. Ability to see the big picture, anticipate future needs, and align customer success initiatives with business objectives.
- Customer‑Centric Mindset. Passion for delivering exceptional value and building long‑term relationships.
- Analytical Acumen. Comfortable turning data into actionable insights and driving decisions.
- Influence & Negotiation. Skilled at persuading senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures.
- Project Leadership. Proven track record of managing multiple, interdependent projects to successful completion.
- Adaptability. Thrive in a fast‑changing environment and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Communication. Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal communication.
Career Growth & Learning Opportunities
At brighthush, your professional development is a priority. You’ll have access to:
- Annual learning stipend of $1,000 to pursue courses, certifications, or conferences that align with your career goals.

- Cross‑functional projects that expose you to new domains and broaden your skill set.
- Clear career pathways from Enterprise Customer Success Manager to Director of Customer Success, and beyond.
- Regular performance reviews that focus on growth, impact, and alignment with company values.
Work Environment & Company Culture
- Remote‑First Flexibility. Work from anywhere – home, café, hills, or beach – with a generous annual co‑working allowance.
- Unlimited Time Off. Reset when you need to – we count your spark, not your leaves.
- Health & Wellness. Comprehensive health insurance, accident protection, and life insurance covering you and your family.
- Workspace Setup. We contribute up to INR 35,000 to build a home office that suits your needs.
- Collaborative, high‑impact teams that value ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Compensation & Benefits

In addition to the base, you’ll receive a performance‑based bonus structure tied to net revenue retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction metrics.

- Health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
- 401(k) plan with company match.
- Generous paid time off, including unlimited vacation and sick days.
- Professional development stipend and access to industry conferences.
- Flexible work schedule to support work‑life balance.
- Employee wellness program and mental health resources.
Inclusion & Diversity
At brighthush, talent, curiosity, and ownership matter more than where you come from. We hire people for the problems they can solve, the impact they create, and the way they help others succeed—not their background, identity, or personal circumstances. We believe the best teams are built when people with different perspectives come together around a shared ambition to build something meaningful.
We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a fair, inclusive, and accessible hiring process for everyone.
