Role Description The Senior Finance Director is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing financial strategy, planning, and reporting across Tensfer’s operations. This role leads the development of budgets and forecasts, manages financial performance metrics, and provides data-driven insights to support executive decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Senior Finance Director collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and support growth in Tensfer’s embedded financial ecosystem. This position also mentors finance team members, improves financial processes, and contributes to long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Finance expertise, including a deep understanding of corporate finance and financial management in technology or fintech environments. Candidates should possess Financial Planning skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and strategic financial planning. Candidates should possess Financial Reporting and Financial Statements skills, including the ability to oversee GAAP-compliant reports and ensure accurate and transparent financial disclosures. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with proficiency in interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, and supporting data-informed business decisions. Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred. Experience in leadership roles within finance, particularly in fintech, digital assets, or financial services, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements is beneficial. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment. Demonstrated ability to build and improve financial processes, implement financial systems or tools, and support rapid growth in a scaling organization.
